DonateWe are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization so your contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Our Mission
The War Archive preserves Nigeria–Biafra history by collecting, digitizing, and sharing stories, photographs, and artifacts. We approach the Nigeria–Biafra conflict as more than an isolated event, understanding it as a convergence of colonial histories and post-independence realities.

How We Work

Collect
We gather documents, photographs, andartifacts from survivors, families, and communities across Nigeria and the diaspora, alongside publicly available records, press documentation, and official sources.

Digitize & Archive
We digitize and catalogue each item, resarching and fact-checking to provide accurate historical context. Every record is made accessible to researchers, educators and the public worldwide.

Share & Connect
We make these records freely available online and invite survivors, families and researchers worldwide to contribute, ensuring the historical record continues to grow.
Be Part of History
Whether you have stories to share, artifacts to contribute, or simply want to explore and learn, there's a way for you to get involved.
